I had an amazing stay here and would stay there again. The hotel had best possible and quiet location just next door to several great lakeside parks and city life. It also was close to the lake.

The stuff were really helpful, provided us with a beautiful room on the water. Peaceful and exceptionally nice location - within short walking distance to everywhere we needed.

The location right by the lake offered fine views, and I could see deer wandering around. The large deck made relaxing outside easy. The cabin was clean, and the bed felt comfortable. I appreciated the rustic design and the picnic table in the kitchen area was a nice touch. The sofa was quite uncomfortable for sitting, and I noticed limited kitchenware. The bedroom fan wobbled and made noise, which disrupted my sleep. The bright lights from outside weren't adequately blocked by the mini-blinds. I missed having a TV in the bedroom. A peaceful place with lots of potential but needs some updates for a better experience.

would love to go back
The lodge suite upstairs w/ balcony was great with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. Spacious with a nice view of the lake. Patio was perfect for hanging out. The outdoor swimming pool looked inviting with sun loungers for relaxation. Clean and had everything we needed-kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. Loved the peaceful vibes!

The location is superb with beautiful lake views. Our large family, including our pets, enjoyed the spacious areas where the kids could play. The nearby pavilion offered a great place for our evening cookout, and the volleyball court was a hit with everyone.
My kids wished there was better access to the lake for swimming. A few extra amenities would have, such as a larger pool area or a more extensive store on-site.

Amazing Family Experience Feeding Deer
We had a fantastic family trip, especially enjoying the unique experience of feeding the deer right from our cabin porch! The cabins were spacious, and the beautiful views of the lake added to our good stay. I wish the pool had been open as it looked like a great spot for the kids to have fun.

A Perfect Family Retreat!
The cottage was spacious, with room for everyone. We enjoyed grilling in the backyard while deer visited us. Don't miss the onion rings at the nearby Gristmill River Restaurant- delicious! Book via Groupon for a fantastic deal.

The Lodge Suite Downstairs w/ Deck provided a comfortable escape with peaceful area. The beds were inviting, ensuring a restful night. Close proximity to family made it an ideal choice. The room layout was somewhat cramped, limiting movement. The amenities were decent, but a few more offerings would enhance the overall experience.

Had a blast with friends! Enjoyed the pool and the volleyball court for some friendly competition. The views from the balcony were amazing, and the nearby clear-blue lake was perfect for our fishing adventures. A great spot for daytime fun in the Texas Hill Country. Just remember to bring your own cooking supplies and ice.
One downside was the lack of proactive service. We had to change the sheets ourselves when we found hair all over them. Not what you'd expect.
